A modern makeover has been creatively applied to a small house, giving new life and increased accommodation for a young, growing family and their pets. A new 1st floor study and large deck give grand city views. Clever use of space includes a hide away laundry under the stairs behind a large sliding screen. Doors and panels open up to further spaces, and sliding doors open onto a rear deck and garden. Materials have been carefully selected, using a mix of mosaic tiles, polished concrete, concrete block walls, polished timber, glass and corrugated iron. These elements together create a warm, yet contemporary family home.
